Jackass star Ryan Dunn dies in car crash

Porsche wrecked, passenger also dead after a night of partying

The scruffy bearded guy from the daredevil Jackass movies, Ryan Dunn, has died in a car crash near Philadelphia, USA overnight.

The 34-year-old star -- whose most infamous Jackass prank was inserting a Hot Wheels toy car in his rear end -- and his as yet unnamed passenger were reported to have died at the scene.

NBC Philadelphia news agency reported that the Porsche the pair were travelling in left the road, went through a guard rail, hit a tree and burst into flames at about 2:30am.

Pictures of the mangled wreck make it barely distinguishable as a Porsche; Dunn was partly identified by his tattoos, according to one report.

Little is known of the exact circumstances of the crash, but Dunn had posted a photo and a note on Twitter while partying just hours before the fateful crash.
